Dell XPS M2010 Review - notebook for the ultra rich!

Dell XPS M2010 ReviewsDell XPS M2010 Reviews

The name M2010 sounds like it is a machine from the year 2010. And from the looks of it, it is a futuristic laptop. If you are ultra rich, this is the laptop to buy. This sports an unbelievable 20″ widescreen sure to satisfy all your mobile movie fantasies! :-) I am not sure whether you can call this a laptop. It weighs over 18lbs!!

The high end version costs over $4000 and comes with blue ray disc drive. But surprisingly this version has only 1GB of RAM. Never go for this unless you want to flaunt your money. The best one among the lot seems to be Media Guru version with 2GB RAM. All versions come with a 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1800.

Key Specification for Media Guru XPS M2010
Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.00GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, 667 MHz FSB)
256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1800
2GB3 Dual Channel4 DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms)
Hard Drive Dual: 500GB5 (2×250GB) 5400RPM Hard Drive

Pros

  • This looks fantastic. You can show this to all your friends and neighbours :-)
  • Good design and brilliant screen (20″+) and can replace your desktop

Cons

  • Way too expensive for ordinary mortals like me!
  • You can take it around, but it won’t be easy though!
